The Australian DBT Institute has today announced the dates and DBT Training for 2014! The Australian DBT Institute will provide training in Sydney (May & November 2014); Melbourne (March – September 2014); Gold Coast (May & June 2014) and Darwin (December 2014).
2014 DBT TRAINING
- Gold Coast (Lakeside Rooms, Robina) – November 2014
DBT for Youth: 6 x 2 1/2 hours sessions for mental health professionals interested in applying the Youth DBT program in private practice or as an addition to the full DBT program. (NOW FULL!)
DBT – Skills Training: 2-day program for mental health professionals interested in providing the skills component of DBT within a DBT program. Also suitable for individual therapist as all the skills sessions are discussed and are also applied in individual sessions. (Facilitator: Julie King)
- Melbourne (Epworth Clinic, Camberwell) – 7th & 8th July 2014
DBT – Individual Psychotherapy: 2 day program for mental health professionals looking to provide the Individual Psychotherapy component of DBT. Includes a general overview of DBT and intake assessments for DBT programs. (Facilitators: Peter King & Tina Cicolini)
- Sydney CBD (Y Hotel on Hyde Park) – 17th & 18th November 2014
DBT for Indigenous Youth: 3 day residential program plus a 20 hour online curriculum for mental health professionals and Indigenous health workers wanting to provide a DBT adapted program for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander youth between 16 and 30 years. Trainings are held annually and alternate between Darwin, Brisbane and Perth. (Facilitators: Peter King & Allan Murray)
